COVID continues to wreak havoc on sports schedules and the UNBC Timberwolves women’s basketball team won’t be playing this weekend as a result.
The T-wolves were supposed to be playing the Fraser Valley Cascades in a two-game U SPORTS Canada West set Friday and Saturday at the Northern Sport Centre but the games have been postponed.
Both teams do not have the minimum number of players available due to safety protocols related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The games will be rescheduled at a later date.
The T-wolves-Cascades men’s games will happen this weekend at the NSC, but the game times have been changed. Those games will be played starting at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
