Both University of Northern British Columbia basketball teams tip off the second half of the PACWEST season tonight at the Northern Sport Centre.
The women's Timberwolves put their 6-0 record on the line against a Kwantlen Eagles (4-3) team attempting to climb into the top echelon of the standings. The game starts at 6 p.m. with the men's game between the third-place T-wolves (4-2) and Eagles (2-5) slated to begin at 8 p.m.
Saturday the Langura College Falcons are the visitors as the Lady T-wolves face a 2-5 Falcons team at 6 p.m., with the men up against the 4-3 Falcons at 8 p.m.
In exhibition play, the UNBC women beat the Falcons 74-61 in Vancouver, while the UNBC men fell 85-74 to Langura.
