T-wolves schooled on hard court by Japanesse

In the second meeting between the teams Wednesday at the Northern Sport Centre the women from Japan handed the T-wolves a 109-60 loss behind Masae Nagano's 16 points and Kanako Masuoka's 13.

Jen Clyne led the T-wolves, and all players on the floor, with 26 points, while Emily Kaehn and Nicole Schlick each had eight points.

On Tuesday, the T-wolves fell 108-77 as Masuoka had 22 points, while Kady Dandeneau led UNBC with 17 and Mercedes van Koughnett added 13.

Both the T-wolves women and men return to PACWEST action Friday, Jan. 13 when the Kwantlen Eagles visit Prince George. The UNBC women sit on top of the standing with a perfect 6-0 record heading into the second half of the season, while the men from UNBC are 4-2. The women tip off at 6 p.m., with the men following at 8 p.m.
