After their two victories in their final PACWEST games of 2011 last weekend the University of Northern British Columbia women's basketball team moved into fourth in the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association rankings.
The Timberwolves are 6-0 after holding off a late-game rally by the Vancouver Island University Mariners on Friday to win 60-52 and staging a come-from-behind 62-59 win over the Camosun Chargers on Saturday.
UNBC was ranked ninth before last weekend's games.
Dawson College Blues are the top-ranked team followed by Edmonton's MacEwan Griffins. Another Quebec league school, the Montmorency Nomades are third. The Mariners are ranked seventh with the Capilano Blues 11th.
