The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired an addition to its roster of forwards.

Jimmy Doyle comes from from the Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey League where he finished the 2020-21 season with eight points in 36 games.

The native of Plainfield, IL comes in at 6’2 tall and 185 pounds.

"With only a couple of roster spots to fill, we were being very selective on the type of player we are adding," Spruce Kings general manager Mike Hawes said.

"Jimmy has good size, speed, and skill, and checks a lot of boxes for us on the player we were after.”

Prior to his time in Bismarck, Doyle played the 2019-20 season in the NAHL with the Minnesota Magicians, where he tallied six goals and nine assists in 28 games played.

Doyle commitment to play NCAA Division 1 Hockey at St Lawrence University. This is the same school former Spruce Kings captain Mason Waite is attending in the fall.
