The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired three-year BCHL veteran forward Quinn Disher from the Cowichan Valley Capitals for future considerations.
The 20-year-old native of Fort St. John put up four goals and 12 points in 21 games last season for the Capitals. He also collected two assists in eight games in the AJHL for the Brooks Bandits. Listed at six feet, 161 pounds, Disher started out the season with the Trail Smoke Eaters and had six goals and eight asssits in 21 games with the Smokies.
He played two full seasons with Trail. A product of the Okanagan Hockey Academy, Disher also played one game in 2019-20 with the Penticton Vees. In 113 BCHL games, he has scored 31 goals and 48 assists for 78 points.
“Quinn is a veteran player who can contribute in many areas of the game,” said Kings general manager Mike Hawes. “He can be an impact player for us. He’s a great addition to our group.”
Disher is committed to Michigan Tech for the 2024-25 season.
