Tourism Prince George has released a promotional video that documents a trip through Northern B.C. last April by professional snowboard athletes, including former Olympians Dominique Valle and Mercedes Nicoll.
The video highlights a six-day experience at a variety of locations in the Prince George area, including Bearpaw Heli-Skiing, Powder King Mountain,
Tabor Mountain, and the Nu Spa at Treasure Cove Hotel.
The video is a follow-up to an eight-page magazine feature that is available on shelves as part of the Snowboard Canada women's annual.
"The Prince George area easily has the most underrated mountains in the
entire province.
"I couldn't believe the quality and quantity of the terrain during my trip up North," said Valle.
The new promotional video will be available on the Tourism Prince George website (www.tourismpg.com) in the photo and video gallery section.
The video will also be played for the next few weeks on the screen in the Visitor Centre located at 1300 First Ave (inside the Via Rail building).
Powder King, meanwhile, opened this past weekend.
