Skaters book trip to Cranbrook

Five Prince George Figure Skating Club members will be traveling to Cranbrook in March for the Pacific Skate provincial championships. Tianna Spoletini, Mikaela Moore, Samara Thew, Kyla Gauthier-Vogl and Shelby Scott qualified for the B.C.

Five Prince George Figure Skating Club members will be traveling to Cranbrook in March for the Pacific Skate provincial championships.

Tianna Spoletini, Mikaela Moore, Samara Thew, Kyla Gauthier-Vogl and Shelby Scott qualified for the B.C. meet by securing top placings at the Cariboo regionals, held in Quesnel on the weekend. Spoletini competed in gold triathlon, Moore was on the ice in the bronze triathlon category, Thew was entered in junior bronze 13-and-over free skate, Gauthier-Vogl was on her blades in junior bronze 12-and-under free skate and Scott competed in preliminary 10-and-under free skate.

Provincials are March 3-7.
