The 16-and-under Kodiaks fought to a medal at the Western Canadian Open Championships in Calgary on the weekend.
The Kodiaks, a boys team from the Prince George Youth Volleyball Club, came home with silver in Division 1, Tier 3. Team members are Quinten Astorino, Max Bast, Cody Boulding, Liam Campbell, Raymond Dhillon, Quinn Dunphy, Alex Edgson, Evan Guillet, Adam Halsal, Ryan Hampe, Carter Karpenko and Caleb Plouffe.
The Kodiaks are coached by Jay Guillet and Lee Karpenko.
