Darci Shelke needed to outlast her fellow teammate to win a zone bowling title, and that's exactly what she did.

Shelke, a member of the team from Black Diamond Lanes (formerly Fifth Avenue Bowladrome), edged Natasha Oekie 219-189 in a tiebreaker after the two Prince George bowlers finished tied at 1,054 following five games.

Danielle Chretien was third to complete a Prince George sweep of the medals in the senior girls division. Chretien's total of 1,036 left her just 18 pins back after five games.

In bantam girls, Brenna MacMurchy of Hypertension Escape of Dawson Creek slipped past Black Diamond bowler Kiara Brown to take the gold medal, while in junior girls Paige Meise took first, followed by teammate Anna Day and Aiyanna Basi of Rev Bowling Lanes.

On the boys side, Jeff Strong of Black Diamond dominated on the way to a 73-pin win in the junior division, with Bryce Towgood of Rev Bowling Lanes (Quesnel) and teammate Ryley Dumaine taking second and third respectively. Corbin Taylor of Rev Bowling topped the bantam boys, and Nathan Leoppky of Hypertension Escape finished ahead of Matthew Colley of Black Diamond in the senior division.
