On the other hand, the Prince George Mohawks had 25 years of rust to shake off and predictably came out on the losing end of a 7-1 score.

Not since 1985 had senior hockey been seen by a Prince George audience, and the revival of the Mohawks drew a packed house of about 700 in the cozy confines of Kin 1 Friday, the first of three-game weekend series with the Flyers.

Mike Hofstrand and Gerard Dicaire each scored twice to lift the visitors to the win.
