Ropers clean up at Agriplex

Results from the Wood Weaton Winter Draw Pot held by the Prince George Rodeo Club at the Agriplex on Jan. 7 and 8 saw more them 100 teams entered into the competition and saw Ryan MacNaughton of Quesnel and Dustin Graham of Prince George gallop away with first place.

Second place went to Quesnel's Gary Nicholson and Vanderhoof's Josh Siemens with a pair of Quesnel ropers - Todd Lloyd and Russel Glassford - taking third. Prince George's Clint Cripps teamed up with Vanderhoof's Linda Siemens for fourth place, while Ray Sayles (Vanderhoof) and Darrin Jones (Prince George) were fifth.

Rounding out the top tier of payouts were Delmer Siemens and Craig Kohorst of Vanderhoof.

In the lesser tier of ropers, called the eight, saw Lance Muellin and Jason Bier of Vanderhoof take first place, while Clint Cripps (Prince George) and Linda Siemens were second and Sam Arnold and Josh Siemans, both of Vanderhoof, were third.

The winners of the cups were: MacNaughton and Graham, with the high lady roper being Linda Siemens and the high youth roper Dustin Spiers.
