Restaurant hosting Cougars playoff watch parties

The Prince George Cougars celebrate after winning Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Tri-City Americans on Saturday night.

After tying up their first-round WHL playoff series 1-1 against the Tri-City Americans on Saturday night, the Prince George Cougars are headed south to try to clinch the series on the Americans’ home turf.

The Americans host games 3, 4 and 5 of the series at Toyota Centre in Kennewick, Wash. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The Canadian Brewhouse will be hosting Cougars official away game watch parties each night.

“Hosted by Cougars host, Jessica Speziale, the watch parties will feature the games on all The Canadian Brewhouse’s big screens, and attendees can expect Cougars and Canadian Brewhouse giveaways and games,” a statement released by the Cougars on Monday said.

The games start at 7 p.m. each night. Fans can also stream the games online, by downloading the CHL app.

Games 6 and 7, if necessary, will be held at CN Centre in Prince George on Sunday, April 9 at 6 p.m. and Tuesday, April 11, at 7 p.m.
