The PGTFC topped the team standings, followed by Terrace, Nisga'a Nation Track Club, Houston secondary school, Nechako Valley secondary school and Bulkley Valley Athletics.

The next local meet is the north central district high school championships. The meet -- a qualifier for provincials -- had originally been scheduled for May 17-18 but will probably be held on May 17 only because of job action by B.C. teachers.

Provincials, which will go ahead as planned, are June 1-2 in Burnaby.
