Kenny Lally earned his seventh provincial boxing title and Jag Seehra picked up his sixth title at last weekend's British Columbia boxing championship in Revelstoke.
Lally picked up an exhibition fight where he easily defeated his opponent, while Seehra won both of his matches - 22-11 and 28-20.
Both Prince George Inner City Boxing Club fighters, Lally and Seehra will spend the next month training for the national championship starting Jan. 10.
Meanwhile, the Spruce City Boxing Club, qualified two elite senior boxers for the national championship in Nova Scotia. Thomas Speirs won both his 178-pound class bouts in Revelstoke and was voted the most outstanding boxer in the tournament by the judges, while Robbie Cousin was at the top of the 141-pound class.
Spruce City also sent three novice fighters to Revelstoke. Hank Lukan won his second straight provincial light-heavyweight provincial title, easily winning his first bout before his second opponent forfeited. Mckenzie Cruickshank won the 132-pound youth novice title. The final fighter, Dylan Cruickshank, had no one to fight in Revelstoke.
