It's one last chance to impress Western Hockey League scouts for seven Prince George bantam players this weekend in West Kelowna at the B.C. Cup.

The eight-team B.C. Hockey High Performance Program not only gives players a chance to shine for the upcoming May 3 WHL bantam draft but is also a chance for players to secure spots at the provincial camp July 18-22 at the Shaw Centre in Salmon Arm.

Regional boundaries are dismissed for the mini tournament from April 12-15 so Bryan Allbee, defence, and Trevor Gagne, forward, will suit up with Team Bruins; Marcus Plamondon, forward, is on Team Flyers; Todd Bredo, defence, and Brogan O'Brien, forward, are assigned to Team Leafs; Benjamin Paul, forward, will play with Team Sabres; and Colton Faucher, defence, mans the blueline for Team Wild.

Team Canucks is Prince George free, but has a pair of northerners in Vanderhoof defenceman Jayden Syrota and Burns Lake forward Jarrett Stanyer.

Former B.C. Cup participants include NHL players Brent Seabrook, Bandon McMillan and Brett Connolly.
