The Campbell River Tyees ended the Prince George Total Tops Midget Knights hopes of repeating as provincial baseball champions Saturday.
The Tyees scored three runs in each of the sixth and seventh innings to defeat the Total Tops 8-5 in their final round-robin game of the midget B provincial championships in Mission.
The loss knocked Prince George out of playoff contention and didn't advance to the championship playoff round Sunday.
The Knights jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning when Cole Waldie slapped a single. He eventually got to second base and a few plays later stole home.
Dryden Barkowsky scored an RBI single in the second inning.
With Prince George hanging on to a narrow lead going into the sixth inning, Campbell River rallied for the win. They scored three runs on an RBI double and a two-run home run shot.
They added three more runs in the seventh, plating a run on a wild pitch and another two-run home run.
Barkowsky added a solo home run blast in the seventh inning but the Tyees closed the game out when Bryan Allbee flied out to end the inning and the game.
Bailey McFaul was charged with the loss for the Knights, lasting only two-thirds of an inning, allowing three runs, two walks and no strike-outs.
Allbee got most of the work on the mound when he fanned five batters, and surrendered four hits in four-and-two-thirds innings.
