Medal count off the charts for Blizzard

As often happens, the Prince George Blizzard blew away the competition. Members of the local speed skating club had their blades in motion at the B.C. long track provincial championships in Fort St.

As often happens, the Prince George Blizzard blew away the competition.

Members of the local speed skating club had their blades in motion at the B.C. long track provincial championships in Fort St. John on the weekend and kept ending up on the podium.

In total, 10 skaters claimed 10 medals. In various categories, gold medals went to Callie Swan, Carolina Hiller, Nicholas Hiller, Lorelei St. Rose, Duane Swan and Ross Knudson. Carley Budac, Lucas Hiller and Rylan Gaudet all came home with silver medals and Morgan Swan skated to bronze.

At the interclub or non-competitive level, Keanan St. Rose was first, Landon Young placed fourth and Owen MacDonald was sixth.
