Home ice is where the Prince George Spruce Kings will open their B.C. Hockey League regular season this fall.

On Sept. 11-12, Kings fans will get a glimpse of the BCHL's 17th franchise when the Wenatchee Wild visit the Coliseum.

The Wild were added to the league in early June and will compete in the six-team Mainland Division with the Kings.

The Kings will then hit the road Sept. 19-20 for contests in Langley and Surrey respectively prior to the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack from Sept. 24-27, where they'll play Trail and Victoria.

Each team plays 58 games this season and after playing twice at the Showcase, each squad will have 28 home dates and 28 on the road.

The Kings have four straight home games to wrap up the regular season in February when the Langley Rivermen visit Feb. 18, followed by the Alberni Valley Bulldogs Feb. 19. The Kings will host the Surrey Eagles in a two-game homestand on Feb. 27-28.
