The Prince George Spruce Kings face off against the Trail Smoke Eaters tonight in the second game of a three-game homestand at the Coliseum.

It's the first meeting between the two B.C. Hockey League teams this season.

The Smokies played in Salmon Arm Friday night and are the second-ranked team in the Interior Division with a 7-3 record (not including Friday's result).

The Kings (8-4-0-2) lost 3-2 in double overtime to the league-leading Penticton Vees Thursday.

Trail is led by 19-year-old forwards Charlie Zuccarini and Jake Lucchini, who, prior to Friday's game, were tied for the team's scoring lead with 18 points.

Zuccarini has notched eight goals and 10 assists in 10 games, while Lucchini has tallied seven goals and 11 assists.

Prince George hosts the Powell River Kings Sunday in a 2 p.m. tilt to wrap up the homestand.

The Spruce Kings are in Coquitlam on Wednesday and Langley on Thursday.
