Inglis quenches Cougars' Tri-City thirst

Martin Marincin, Spencer Asuchak and Brock Hirsche scored in regulation for Prince George (9-6-1), while Ty Rimmer picked up the his second win in consecutive nights, making 28 saves.

Jordan Messier had two goals and an assist for Tri-City (11-4-2), playing just its fifth home game this season. Justin Feser also had a goal and an assist, while Owsley finished with 29 saves.

The Cougars hadn't won in Kennewick's Toyota Center since Nov. 2, 2003, a drought that had spanned 13 games and nearly seven years.

It was the second-straight road win for the Cats, who beat the Seattle Thunderbirds 2-0 Friday in Kent, Wash. Rimmer earned his first WHL career shutout in that game, making 36 saves. The Cougars started their current roadtrip with a 7-3 loss to the Spokane Chiefs on Wednesday.

The Cougars will be in Kelowna on Tuesday to take on the Rockets, then have home games at CN Centre set for Friday and Saturday against the Edmonton Oil Kings.
