Ringette is about to take centre ice at the Kin Centre.
The 21st annual Joy Hoffman Memorial tournament will step onto the Kin 2 and Kin 3 rinks Saturday and Sunday. On both days, games will start at 8 a.m.
Teams from Prince George, Quesnel, Houston and Terrace will participate. Age groups range from Under-9 (bunnies) to Under-19 (belles).
Hoffman, who passed away in 1992, was a major force behind Prince George and provincial ringette for 15 years. She was also instrumental in the establishment of the Northern B.C. Ringette League in 1985.
