Sydney and Jordan Hall had everyone at the Prince George Tennis Club seeing double.

On Monday, in the north central district high school tennis championships, the twin sisters from College Heights secondary school clashed in the senior girls singles final. Similar looks, similar abilities, but, on this day, Sydney was just a little bit better and recorded a 6-4 victory.

In senior girls doubles, the Halls were on the same side of the net. They teamed up and defeated Katelyn Hirtz and Alyssa Dugdale of Kelly Road 6-4.

In the senior boys draw, second-seeded Nolan Schwab of College Heights took on top-ranked Kristian Kiland of Kelly Road in the championship match and pulled off a 6-4 upset. In the doubles final, Kiland and John Polnik beat PGSS brothers Hayden and Isaiah Berra 6-3.

There was no junior girls division.

In junior boys competition, the singles title went to Brennan Schwab of College Heights. He beat fellow College Heights player Jon Dunn 6-1.

In other results: Vicki Ascah of Duchess Park beat Linda Jensen of PGSS in the senior girls singles third-place match; Ascah and Kass Myers downed Amy Melquist and Shayna Loseth of College Heights in the senior girls doubles third-place match; Isaiah Berra edged Hayden Berra in the senior boys singles third-place match; Nolan Schwab and Joey Greenlees of College Heights beat Jeff Jang and Lyndon Martell of PGSS in the third-place match in senior boys doubles; and Polnik topped Austin Gill of Kelly Road in the junior boys singles third-place game.

A total of 36 students participated in the tournament.

College Heights, with 113 points, won the team title. Kelly Road (93), PGSS (91) and Duchess Park (45) were second through fourth.

n The City Championships will be on the courts at the PGTC this weekend. Matches are scheduled to start on Friday and will wrap up on Sunday.
