With the final draw of round robin scheduled for this afternoon in Kelowna, Graber leads the eight-team field with a 5-1 record. If he beats Ken McHargue of Sparwood, he'll clinch first place and a bye to Sunday's final. McHargue takes a 2-4 record into today's game.

On Friday night, Graber defeated Sparwood's Ralph Will 5-3. The key end for Graber was the seventh, when he stole a single point and moved into a 4-2 advantage.

Earlier Friday, Graber dumped New Westminster's Doug Meger 8-3 in eight ends. The P.G. skip broke the game open with three points in the fourth end and a steal of one in the fifth.

On Thursday, Graber stole two points in the 10th end to beat Brian Gessner of New Westminster 6-5. In Graber's second game on Thursday, he scored a 6-3 comeback victory against Kelowna's Rob Koffski. Graber trailed 3-2 after eight ends but picked up a deuce in the ninth and stole two more points in the 10th.

Graber started provincials with a 9-8 Wednesday win against Wayne Harris of Comox. Later that day, Graber fell 5-4 to Richmond's Ken Watson.

The other members of Graber's rink are third Brian Windsor, second Garnet Boese and lead David Johnston.

The B.C. champion will advance to nationals, March 17-25 in Abbotsford.
