The Prince George Spruce Kings began a three-game road trip with a Friday win in Kelowna.
In a B.C. Hockey League contest against the Westside Warriors, the Kings used a well-rounded attack to skate to a 4-1 victory.
Westside's Brett Mckinnon opened the scoring in the first period but it was all Prince George after that. The Kings got a second-period marker from Leo Fitzgerald and then closed out the game with three goals in the third. They came off the sticks of Michael Colantone, Chase Golightly (power play) and Jarryd Ten Vaanholt (empty net).
The Kings play in Salmon Arm tonight and in Penticton on Sunday afternoon.
