Inderbir Gill and Chelsea McMullen are finalists for Basketball B.C. awards.
Gill, a point guard for the UNBC Northern Timberwolves this past B.C. Colleges Athletic Association season, is up against Andrew Kaban and Jacob Thom -- both of whom played for the Vancouver Island University Mariners -- for the BCCAA male player of the year.
McMullen, a Prince George product who was a forward for the Camosun College Chargers of Victoria, is in the running for the BCCAA female player of the year. Her competition for the honour is Jessica Franz of the Capilano University Blues and Jenna Kantz of the UBC Okanagan Heat.
The awards will be handed out April 30 in Langley.
