The Prince George Cougars left Cats fans disappointed as the Giants took the CN Centre home opener 5-3.
Giants captain Craig Cunningham, who just returned from the Boston Bruins' training camp, scored twice with less than a minute in between to put Vancouver ahead 2-0 in the first period.
