Fort Fraser's Ketlo commits to Pronghorns

Damien Ketlo will tend net for the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns men's hockey team during the 2012-13 season.

The 21-year-old Fort Fraser product earned the opportunity with the Pronghorns after four seasons in the Western Hockey League where he tended the net for the Regina Pats for three years before being traded to the Lethbridge Hurricanes for his overage year.

During his four WHL seasons, Ketlo made 160 appearances with 47 coming during the 2011-12 season with the Hurricanes where he had a solid .902 save percentage and a 3.60 goals against average on one of the league's weaker team's. Ketlo earned 20 of the Hurricanes 29 victories.

After the Hurricanes season ended, Ketlo made his professional debut with the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL, where he played in three games and earned his first pro shutout.
