Brandon Manning is back in the bigs.
The Philadelphia Flyers called up for the former Prince George Spruce Kings defenceman Wednesday from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Flyers AHL affiliate in Allentown, Pa.
In six games with the Phantoms, the 24-year-old Manning had a goal and five points.
He will be with the Flyers when they play Thursday night in Tampa Bay and on Saturday when they visit the Florida Panthers. The Flyers have run into injuries on the blueline with Andrew MacDonald and Braydon Coburn both out with lower-body injuries.
In his NHL career, Manning has two assists and a plus-5 rating in 10 games with the Flyers.
