Five people will be inducted into the Prince George Sports Hall of Fame this spring.
They are athletes Lyle Dickieson (canoeing and speedskating) and Sylvia Hausot (judo), coaches David Jenkins (lacrosse) and Dale McMann (softball) and administrator Niilo Itkonen (cross country skiing).
They were chose from 28 nominations in all and will be inducted on March 31 at a banquet at the Hart Community Hall.
The achievements of a host of youth athletes, whose names will be known later this month, will also be recognized at the event.
The names of the latest hall of fame inductees were announced Monday.
