The Westwood Pub Devils kept their perfect record intact with a 19-6 win against the Cowboy Ranch Stylers Monday night at Kin 1.
In the Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association, the first-place Devils moved to 9-0 on the season, thanks in large part to Danton Nicholson and Cameron Braun. Nicholson fired six goals and added four assists in the win, while Braun chipped in with three goals and three assists. Also for the Devils, Andrew Sivell and Dave Bennett both had two goals and one assist, while Scott Anderson finished with four helpers.
Matt Rochon, with a four-goal game, was the most dangerous of the Stylers. Mike Bayley and Brandon McKnight each scored once in the loss.
The Devils moved four points ahead of the second-place BX Pub Bandits, who will try to shrink that gap tonight at Kin 1 when they take on the Northland Nissan Assault. Game time is 8 p.m.
