Scott Anderson scored three goals and picked up two assists to help lead the Westwood Pub Devils to a 15-4 win over the B.X. Pub Bandits Monday night.
With the win at Kin 1, the Devils lead the best-of-seven Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association championship series 1-0.
Also factoring in the Devils scoring were Blake McIntosh and Andrew Sivell each with two goals and one assist, while Montgomery Jones, Pierce Watson and Brian Horning each had single tallies. Evan Dustolal collected a goal and two assists.
Jamie Klarenbeek was named the game's first star after his four-point night with one goal and three assists.
For the Bandits, Jake McIntosh, a call-up from the Prince George midget A2 squad, scored a pair of goals, while Damon Calfa added two more.
The teams will clash again in Game 2 Wednesday night at Kin 1 at 8 p.m. Game 3 follows Thursday night, while Game 4 is slated for Monday, July 20.
The winning team will receive the Dale Rolufs Memorial Championship Trophy.
