Cycling club hosts first in-person road race of the season

First road race of season helps shake off winter rust

The Prince George Cycling Club hosted their first in-person road race of the 2022 cycling season on Sunday morning.

The race was held in Pineview with a route that was just under 21kms long that used Johnson Road, Tabor Creek Road, Alpine Road, Pinko Road, Cummings Road, and Pooley Road. Approximately fifteen racers took part eager to put rubber to road after a winter of virtual racing with each rider pedalling their way around either two, three, or four laps of the route, completing 42km, 63km, or 84km total.
