When the Prince George Cougars try to snap their WHL seven-game losing streak tonight against the Vancouver Giants they'll need to do it without the services of defenceman Martin Marincin and Troy Bourke.
Marincin, 19, was suspended four games by the league for an interference penalty in a 6-2 loss to the Giants in Vancouver on Tuesday, while Bourke, 17, received a one-game suspension for a checking from behind penalty in Kelowna on Wednesday. Marincin sat out Wednesday's game in Kelowna.
The Cougars (3-10-0-1), last in the Western Conference, are the second lowest scoring team in the WHL - only the Seattle Thunderbirds (4-5) have less goals (29-22) but have played five less games than Prince George.
Marincin is the Cougars points leader this season with eight (one goal).
