Six members of the Cariboo Cougars were selected for the B.C. Major Midget League all-star game in Coquitlam at Planet Ice during the all-star festivities Jan. 14 and 15.
Goaltender Nathan Warren and forwards Nathan Craft, Eli Jarvis and captain Tanner Fjellstorm will play for Team White against teammates Ryan Gagon and Colton Manning who were named to Team Blue, which will be coached by Cougars' coach Trevor Sprague.
There were 42 players selected with at least one from each of the 11 teams in the league.
A few of the players who have played in the B.C. all-star game include three current members of NHL clubs: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (Edmonton Oilers); Brett Connolly (Tampa Bay Lightning) and Evander Kane (Winnipeg Jets).
