The College Heights senior girls volleyball team placed second overall at a weekend event hosted by D.P. Todd. In Saturday night's championship match, played at the College of New Caledonia, the Cougars took on the Houston Christian Wildcats and lost 25-17, 25-23.

The Cougars finished the tournament with a 5-1 match record.

"The girls did everything well," said College Heights coach Jason Olexyn. "They passed well, they served well, they communicated. Their defensive positioning was outstanding. I can't say enough about them."
