Drew Owsley stopped 28 shots for his fourth win of the Western Hockey League season and Greg Fraser and Alex Forsberg tallied their third goals of the season in front of 1,855 fans at the CN Centre.

Fraser opened the scoring midway through the second period with a shorthanded marker, while Forsberg scored the winner on a power play with less than five minutes to play.

James Henry was the only Giant to beat Owsley, tying the game at 1-1 on a power-play goal late in the second period.

Giants goaltender Jackson Whistle made 16 saves in the loss.

In BCHL action Saturday the Prince George Spruce KIngs fought had for 60 minutes, but opportunistic Alberni Valley Bulldogs skated out of The Coliseum with a 6-1 win in front of 781 fans.

Brandon Adams had a goal and three helpers in leading the Bulldogs to the win. Chase Golightly had the Kings' goal - his first of the season.

The Bulldogs were 3-for-7 on the power play, while the Kings were 0-for-4.

Prince George was playing without their top two scorers - Paul De Jersey and Jujhar Kharia - who were both invited to the final evaluation camp for Team Canada West before the 2011 World Junior A Challenge in Langley.
