Cougars fall in overtime

The Prince George Cougars earned a point to remain in fourth place in the Western Conference playoff race but fell 5-4 in overtime to the Spokane Chiefs Saturday at CN Centre.

Carlin Dezainde, Ondrej Becher, Ethan Samson, and Chase Wheatcroft scored for the Cougars while Ty Young made 35 saves on 40 shots.

The Cougars next play on Wednesday at Prospera Place in Kelowna against the Rockets.
