Greg Fraser, Charles Inglis and James Dobrowolski staked the Cougars to a 3-0 lead, and James Priestner recorded the shutout as the Cougars earned a split with the Bruins. Chilliwack, a team that features local products Brandon Manning and Ryan Howse, blanked the Cougars 3-0 on Tuesday in a game that marked the first post-Christmas action for both clubs.

Announced attendance Wednesday was 2,015. On Tuesday, 2,102 were on hand to see the Bruins win.

The Cougars face the Moose Jaw Warriors on Sunday, a 2 p.m. start at CN Centre.
