Another two wins were added to the Prince George WIC Female Bantam Rep Cougars season totals after they swept a two-game Cariboo League series in 100 Mile House on the weekend.

The Cougars (22-3-3) won 7-0 on Saturday and 16-0 on Sunday with each of the girls contributing offensively, while Avery Quiring posted both shutouts. In league play with 100 Mile House this season the Cougars are 4-0.

Don Knoop, coach of the Cougars, said the games were a good preparation for the girls heading into Kelowna next weekend for a pair of exhibition contests. The Cougars will face the midget tier 1 Kelowna Jr. Rockets on Saturday in a battle between the bantam and midget champions in the Hayley Wickenheiser tournament a few weeks ago in Burnaby. In one meeting this season the two team tied.

Sunday the Cougars face the bantam tier 1 Jr. Rockets who they beat last weekend in Prince George and have a 1-0-2 record against.
