Golfers shooting for the pins in the 10th annual Prince George Cougars Alumni Charity Golf Tournament will have another target in mind when they take to the course at Prince George Golf and Curling Club on Saturday, July 8.
One lucky golfer will win a one-year lease to drive away with a 2022 Jeep Gladiator.
All golfers in the sold-out event are eligible to enter the draw and six will be chosen to participate. Whoever gets closest to the hole on the 75-yard sot wins the prize, provided by Northland Dodge.
“With this being the 10th anniversary of the tournament, we wanted to make sure it has the wow factor and take a lot of pride elevating it to be one of northern BC’s largest fundraisers with proceeds going to support Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation,” said Brandon Willson, Dealer Principal, Northland Dodge.
The Cougars Alumni tournament has been sold out since March.
Over the previous nine years, the event has raised more than $650,00 to support Spirit of the North’s effort to buy hospital equipment.
“This tournament has helped equip the North with much-needed cardiac equipment and we will be continuing to direct funds to this critical area with proceeds from the tournament this year.,” said Aimee Cassie, CEO, Spirit of the North healthcare Foundation.
