Brett Connolly is coming back to the Prince George Cougars, as captain.

The Cougars announced Friday that the 18-year-old Connolly is being returned to junior hockey by the Tampa Bay Lightning, the team that picked him sixth overall in June's National Hockey League draft. The Cats also announced Connolly will wear the 'C' for the 2010-11 season.

The full-time assistant captains will be James Dobrowolski and Charles Inglis. As well, Brock Hirsche will be an assistant for home games and Jesse Forsberg will fill that role for road games.

The Cougars start their season tonight in Kamloops against the Blazers.
