The Duchess Park Condors senior boys basketball team opens the triple-A high school provincial championship tournament today in Langley against the Byrne Creek Bulldogs of Burnaby.
In the 16-team tournament, the zone champion Condors are ranked 14th and the Bulldogs are third. The game starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Langley Events Centre,
Games will continue through Saturday, with the final set for 6 p.m.
The Rick Hansen Hurricanes of Clearbrook are the top seed, followed by the South Kamloops Titans.
At the 16-team single-A girls championship in Duncan, the Cedars Christian School Eagles start play against Surrey Christian at 8:30 p.m. today. The tournament's championship game is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Saturday.
