In their toughest game of the season the Duchess Park Condors A junior girls basketball team beat the Nechako Valley Viqueens 54-14 to win the DPSS Jr. A girls tournament held Dec. 9 and 10. The Condors had a commanding lead at the half and then held NVSS scoreless in the third quarter. In the third-place game, the College Heights Cougars held off a late charge by Columneetza of Williams Lake to win 45-35.
