College Heights grad Kozlowski joins NCAA All Academic golf team

Natasha Kozlowski of Prince George has been in fine form golfing on the NCAA Div. 2 Great Northwest Athletic Conference circuit this season. The 21-year-old criminology major was selected to the GNAC All-Acedmic team for the second consecutive year.

For the second straight year, Simon Fraser University golfer Natasha Kozlowski has earned a place on the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Women’s Golf All-Academic Team.

The 21-year-old College Heights Secondary School graduate from Prince George maintained a 3.29 Grade Point Average (on a scale of 4.0) during the 2022-23 season while in her junior year majoring in criminology at SFU.

To qualify as an All-American, golfers must be of sophomore eligibility or greater, have a minimum GPA of 3.20, be in their second year at the nominating institution and maintain varsity letter requirements.

Kozlowski, who won the GMAC conference newcomer-of-the-year award in 2022,  has a scoring average of 78.29 per round and has three top-18 finishes so far in four tournaments competing on the four-member SFU Red Leafs team this season.

The SFU women’s team ranks second in the conference with a 307.2 scoring average. They’re coming off a tournament win March 28 at the San Marcos Shootout in Temecula, Calif.

Kozlowski finished tied for 15th place, finishing with a 12-over 156 (79-77). She was the tournament co-leader with five birdies and parred 16 holes.

Next up for the Red Leafs is the GNAC women’s championships next Monday in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. SFU placed second in the conference last year.
