When the opening ceremony for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games takes place tonight, pay close attention to the young woman leading Iran into B.C. Place Stadium.
Holding the placard with "Islamic Republic of Iran", in both English and French, will be 18-year-old local dancer Karissa Polsom, a few strides ahead of that country's flag-bearer.
