Action on the hard courts was set to get underway Friday night if rain showers had cleared by then.

The men's single final is slated for 3 p.m. Sunday on centre court and sees the return of top-seed Kristian Kiland who won the 2014 title when he beat No. 2-ranked James Nearing.

Club president Jim Condon along with vice-president Nathan Teegee will also

pick up their racquets in men's singles and doubles.

The tournament features 26 players registered in men's and women's singles, doubles and mixed doubles events. With 11 players, the advanced men's singles is the largest category.

First serves are expected to be delivered beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
