The Roga Contracting Cougars only lost one game. Unfortunately, it was the wrong one and they had to settle for a bronze medal in their own tournament.
In the Sands Bulk Bantam Tier 3 Invitational, played on the weekend at the Kin Centre, the Cats dropped a 3-0 decision to Kamloops in a Saturday semifinal and ended up skating for third place on Sunday morning. In that contest, they had little trouble grounding the Fort St. John Flyers. The final score was 8-1 in favour of Prince George.
