The B.X. Pub Bandits downed the host Quesnel Employment Services Crossfire 11-3 Monday night in Game 2 of the best-of-five Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association semifinal playoff series.
The game at Quesnel Twin Arenas featured 95 penalty minutes as the Bandits, with the win, now have a 2-0 series lead.
Brett Doig led the Bandits attack with four goals and one assist, while Damon Calfa added two goals and an assist.
Dan Martin collected a pair of goals and Steven Kidwell picked up four assists to go along with his lone goal. Lucas Buckhorn tallied once and added three assists, while Jeremy Matte chipped in a single goal.
For the Crossfire, Dayton Toews, J.T. Moore and Hunter McSeveney factored in the scoring, each with single goals.
The Bandits have a chance to close out the series when the two teams return to Prince George Wednesday night at 8 p.m. at Kin 1.
Tonight at Kin 1 (8 p.m.), the Westwood Pub Devils take on the Northland Nissan Assault in Game 2 of their best-of-five playoff series. The Devils won the first game 18-1 for a 1-0 series lead.
