B.C. Education Minister has turned down the School District 57's request for $22,000 to cover the annual costs related to the creation of the new ward system.

The school district's Transitional Alternative Program is in a new home. Also known as TAPS, it is now in the John McInnis Centre after a "long and productive time" at the College of New Caledonia, officials said in a press release issued Wednesday.
